TOWN CENTRE REGENERATION SITE – St Johns Street, Bromsgrove

On the instructions of Bromsgrove District Council GJS Dillon Commercial Property Consultants have been asked to market the 1.78 acre (0.72 hectare) Historic Market Site, St John Street, Bromsgrove situated at the southern end of the High Street, on a sole agency basis.

The site is earmarked for a retail led mixed use development scheme, although leisure uses such as cafes, restaurants and a cinema may also be accepted on the ground and upper floors. The site marks the second major site to come onto the market in accordance with the Bromsgrove District Council Area Action Plan.

On the instructions of "The Recreation Road Consortium" GJS Dillon Commercial Property Consultants were asked to market the 2.31 acre (0.93 hectares) Recreation Road site, situated just off the main High Street, close to the main Asda Supermarket on a sole agency basis. The site was earmarked for Extra Care/Care Village uses (Classes C2 and C3) and expressions of interest from Care Sector Developers, Operators and Housing Trusts were taken for the redevelopment of this site, which marks the first step in the reorganisation and redevelopment of Bromsgrove town centre, in accordance with the recently publicised Draft Area Action Plan. The site has now been sold to Stepnell/Aspen Retirement Living with work due to commence September 2015.
