Professional Pension SIPP Valuation on Grade II Property

The Challenge

GJS Dillon were instructed by clients who had agreed terms to purchase a new Head Office, to carry out a formal RICS Red Book valuation. The inspection and valuation revealed the Grade II Listed property was not in as good condition as the client imagined and the agreed price was in excess of the market value.

The Solution

The client engaged GJS Dillon to renegotiate with the owner and following extensive negotiations we managed to agree a meaningful reduction in the purchase price
