Freehold Site Sale Realises Healthy Sum

GJS DILLON ACHIEVES £1+ MILLION PER ACRE FOR A WORCESTER RESIDENTIAL SITE

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon LLP has achieved more than £1 million per acre for the sale of a site for new housing in Worcester.

On behalf of family trust clients, GJS Dillon, which has offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove, disposed of a freehold residential building land site at Pope Iron Road, Worcester, which had the benefit of a detailed planning permission for redevelopment with three town house and three apartments.

GJS Dillon Partner Phillip Jones achieved a price of £270,000 for the 0.25 acre site, equivalent to £1.08 million per acre in the sale to a local company.

He said: “The sale of this land, for which we had a number of offers, shows that well located, small, central residential sites continue to have an active market in Worcester.”
