Sarah Moors has joined the Property Asset Management department at GJS Dillon as Property Manager working alongside Adam Jones, GJS Dillon’s Director of Property Asset Management. Sarah, who has worked in the real estate sector for the past 5 years, will work closely with clients, contractors and tenants looking after the growing management portfolio on a day to day basis. Having completed her MSc in Real Estate at Nottingham Trent University and acquired local property knowledge, Sarah was made redundant during the first wave of the pandemic. But she is now enjoying her new role at GJS Dillon and working towards becoming a qualified surveyor.
Adam Jones says ‘Sarah has brought a variety of experience and knowledge to the department, having worked in both property management and planning and development in the West Midlands. Owing to the current circumstances, the department has been extremely busy supporting landlords and tenants and taking on new property management instructions so we’re glad to have her on the team’
Sarah Moors says ‘I’m really grateful to GJS Dillon for giving me this opportunity. Sadly the pandemic has resulted in a large number of redundancies within the property industry and I feel very lucky to have the support and training from GJS Dillon to become a qualified surveyor.’
Michelle Whitehead, who formally concentrated on the finances within the Property Asset Management Team, has now been promoted to Finance Manager, working alongside John Dillon.
John Dillon says ‘Michelle has been invaluable over the last 6 years at GJS Dillon having taken on various financial and property management related roles. I am very fortunate to now have her working directly with me and the other Directors at GJS Dillon in this new capacity.’
