GJS DILLON SELLS BROMSGROVE MIXED USE INVESTMENT

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has sold the freehold of a mixed use investment property in Bromsgrove.Acting on behalf of a private client, Charlie Green, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold 6, 10a and 10b The Strand, Bromsgrove, B61 8AB, a mixed use commercial and residential investment property, to a private investor, for £230,000, at a net initial yield of more than 7.5%.

The ground floor is let to a beautician business with four years remaining on the lease, while the rear ground and first floor residential accommodation is let on six-month Assured Shorthold Tenancies.The property is located in a prominent position just off the northern end of Bromsgrove’s main High Street.

“This is a good, prominently located, income producing investment.  With interest rates still low, demand from investors for this type of freehold investment property remains high,” says Mrs Green.
