Golf Day Goes With A Swing

A charity golf day has raised £2,590 for the Primrose Hospice.

The event, at Redditch Golf Club, teed off after bacon butties in the club house, with 72 players tackling the course.

The golf competition was won by Dillons Demons.

Among other highlights on the day, away from the golf, were the auction and raffle.

Alistair Hayward-Wright of Hayward-Wright Accountants the highest bidder of the weekend hire of an E-Type Jaguar, kindly donated by Great Escape Cars and the raffle was won by Mark Rolfe of Century Lighting.

Primrose Hospice’s community fund-raiser Sarah Patrick said: “We are so appreciative of our supporters in the community who help us to continue providing our services free, supporting our patients and their families in North Worcestershire.”
