Lockdown is being lifted but are you ready for lift off?

June 2020

With lockdown restrictions gradually easing, the team at Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has come up with some timely tips to help businesses prepare:

Be building ready: carry out inspections, HVAC and mechanicals checks. Clean offices thoroughly.  Rearrange furniture and measure out social distances. Monitor office traffic patterns and follow social distancing guidelines

Be workforce ready: consider all the options for flexible working including staggered/split shifts, hot desks and rotas for office/home working. Create relevant policies and share them with staff well in advance of their return

Be clean: provide hand sanitisers, keep doors open, operate a clean hands/desk policy, carry out frequent cleaning of kitchen and shared areas

Be in control: set strict protocols for health and safety checks, deliveries and dispatches, visitors and all common areas

Be open to change: be willing to listen and communicate with clarity and transparency, create feedback channels and be open to adapting and changing policies

If you’re a local business owner and need advice on your business premises or just want a general no-obligation talk, contact the GJS Dillon team on info@gjsdillon.co.uk or call  01905 676169.
